On this festival will gather Russian and foreign guests and will argue about whose compatriot is a cucumber? And everybody will be right, because grown 7 thousand years ago in India
cucumber has become familiar practically all around the world. It’s known that in
Vladimir region this popular snack vegetable has started to grow approximately 5–7 centuries ago. Since that Suzdal and cucumber are inseparable. Growth of cucumbers is extremely
important for Suzdalians. Every year all guests take away new souvenirs
from this festival. How can you resist the temptation to buy one of various souvenirs from this fair – made of wood, loam, patcher and paper and they are, as usual, green-yellow as Suzdal
cucumber itself.
