Several thousand tourists gathered in the ancient town to take part in the International Cucumber festival. It’s known that in Vladimir region citizens started to grow popular snack vegetable approximately 5–7 centuries ago. Since that Suzdal and cucumber are inseparable. Growth of cucumbers is extremely important for Suzdalians. Every year all guests take away new souvenirs from this festival. How can you resist the temptation to buy one of various souvenirs from this fair – made of wood, loam, patcher and paper and they are, as usual, green-yellow as Suzdal cucumber itself.
